Bought one of these products in green apple. And bought one ami.n.o's energy in watermellon.(my aim is to come off dirty energy drinks that ive been drinking for the past 5+ years, 1-3 a day) Im a big flavour person. Lets just say this product in the green apple.... has only 4 scoops taken out of it..and will be going in the bin. The ami.n.os energy on the other hand... 10 out of 10..... energy drink free for the past 3weeks thanks to ami.n.os energy. But maybe this product will be nicer for you? .. person by person basis I would say.
This stuff is awesome! I've had every flavour and absolutely love it. It isn't effervescent as it claims to be, but that didn't bother me. I love how it contains no stims so you can take this any time of night without having to worry that it's gonna keep you up all night! Mixes very well and the taste is awesome, not overly sweet too. Will keep buying this stuff, great product!
Just finished my tub of AMINOx, Watermelon flavour. This was the first BCAA product I've used.
Flavour wise, it was great. Refreshing watermelon flavour reminded me of drinking Raro as a kid. (in a good way) Great to have in my drink bottle at work and just sip on it all day. What I did really REALLY like was the effervescent powder. It wasn't quite fizzy like a coke, or a berocca, but just a little tingly on the tongue when you're drinking it. A nice touch.
I'm not an expert on formulas, but based on my research this one is pretty good, with 10g of BCAAs per serve, although hidden inside a proprietary blend.
The powder was really fine, which unfortunately meant that you could hardly look at it without it whiffing all over the place. Had a couple of little spills, which usually resulted in me licking powder off my hand like a cocaine addict.
As far as the training benefits went, I found it quite helpful. I was taking this before and after fasted training, and have noticed no negative impacts on muscle size or strength.
Overall, really happy with AMINOx, would definitely use again.
Tried blue raspberry which was a little overpowering but works wonders in terms of formula, good nutrition content too
I have used amino x, Watermelon flavour for the last couple of months, it tastes amazing, and works wonders,
I was able to get my hands on watermelon and fruit punch flavors from bb.com a few weeks ago. Initial thoughts, when i first opened the product, i noticed that the scoop had an extra long handle, so you didn't have to dig in the powder and find it. Also i noticed a dry pack packed inside of the bottle to keep the Amino-X from getting clumpy (very innovative!). Iv been using this product for about 2-3 weeks now and i can say it honestly has helped me out, i notice that i am able to achieve better pumps and generally i am able to push out a few extra reps. A few things i love about this product is that unlike any other amino product i have tried, this will completely mix with little to no effort. I just swish my shaker bottle around a few times and its mixed. Best of all its great for recovery.
Got this along with Gaspari Aminolast and this is just as nice tasting and great for recovery - Im hooning through my multiple tubs of these BCAAS it doesn't get much better for natural recovery and even slight strenght gains!
The fruit punch tastes amazing, the only down fall is that it leaves stains on your lips.
One of the cheaper flavoured bcaa powders along side xtend, purple wraath and aminolast.
Very sweet berry taste (quite nice) and good ingredients profile.
0 cals (asides from the cals from the proteins but not listed) so works well with my fasted training.
