Road to $50k!

This is Mark, also known to the community as “Mahi Man”

Mark and his team are volunteer stars, working with professional sports teams such as the Warriors and community sports events to keep the teams hydrated.

Sadly, their means of transport is on its last legs, so we're raising $50,000 to replace their van! The team at Xplosiv Supplements greatly supports and admires the volunteer efforts of "Mahi Man" Mark and Rob "Concrete", and we know how important it is that we help them out.

Whether it's 7am on a cold morning or pouring with rain, you can count that the “Mahi Man” will be there in top spirits with a smile on his face, ensuring the morale is kept high at all times and the teams he works with, fully hydrated.

Sadly, their method of transport is on its last legs. Their trips start in Gisborne most weeks and Leityn (Mark's caregiver) spends upwards of $400 per week on fuel, out of his own pocket, getting the crew around.

People with disabilities are often forgotten about and there is such limited funding provided, so it's important that we try and use our platform to spread the word and unlock new opportunities for his hydration services.

We’re on a mission to raise money to purchase a new vehicle for his crew; which will not only serve as a way to get him to his sporting commitments, but also serve as something special for him to be proud of. It's important for everybody to have a purpose and Mark’s is his hydration service - lets help make this into something special!

In addition to our fundraising efforts, our team is also in the process of developing a hydration product - where 50% of the profits from each purchase will go towards Mark and his team.

Founder of Xplosiv Supplements, John Birrell has long been acquainted with Mark and his team, watching their commitment to New Zealand sports and the time they give to athletes.

“I live with ASD ("Asperger's Syndrome") and ADHD. Navigating through my early years was challenging, particularly within the school system which, at the time, had limited awareness and resources for individuals like myself. My educational journey eventually took me to a particular school, where I befriended Mark, now known as "the Mahi man" - John, founder of Xplosiv Supplements
