While the leaves, flower and bud of the plant are primarily used for making CBD medicines, the richest source of cannabinoids in the plant are abundant on the hemp seed hull which is present during harvesting. Growers and producers of Hemp seed oil products wash the seed, at Kure, we don't. We take this by-product which when processed, looks similar to the pulp that would come out of a juicer. This is what we call a hemp cake.
We soak this cake into hemp seed oil for 3 weeks putting the naturally occurring cannabinoids that are found in hemp - back into the oil, such as CBD. We then test it and dilute it accordingly.
