How to bake it
Oven
- Mix. Combine 300ml of warm water, the included 7g yeast sachet and the full 400g of bread mix in a bowl.
- Knead. Knead 2–3 minutes for a dense loaf, or 6–8 minutes for a fluffier one. Place the dough in a loaf pan.
- Prove. Let it sit at 25–30°C for about 20 minutes (dense) and up to 50 minutes (lighter, fluffier).
- Bake. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 40–45 minutes at 200–220°C.
Bread maker
Add 300ml warm water, the 7g yeast sachet and the 400g of mix to your machine. Run the standard or whole-grain program on the 500g loaf setting. If your machine only makes larger loaves, multiply the recipe by 1.5.

Is the yeast included?
Yes. A 7g sachet of yeast is packed inside every 400g bag, so you only need to add warm water and your own baking time — nothing else to buy.
Is this bread mix gluten-free?
No. The first ingredient is wheat gluten, and the mix also contains wheat flour and wheat bran. It is not gluten-free and is not suitable for people with coeliac disease.
Is it suitable for a plant-based diet?
The recipe itself is plant-based with no animal ingredients. It is made in a facility that also handles milk, so it may contain traces of milk and is not guaranteed dairy-free.
How many slices does one pack make?
The 400g pack is labelled as 16 servings, with a serving size of 25g (about one slice). Your slice count will vary with how you cut the finished loaf.
Why is it lower in carbohydrate than normal bread?
It is built mainly from wheat gluten, linseed and seeds rather than standard flour, so each 25g slice has 4.8g carbohydrate and just 0.6g sugars. Bake times and slice size are up to you.
