Pretty good amino formula - only a slight change from the old version. I'd put this ahead of MusclePharm Amino1, due to the higher BCAA content.
Mixes really easily, and the watermelon flavour tastes good.
If you're looking for a well rounded amino product, this should be your go-to. Or, if you're looking for something with a kick, try the Alpha Amino Xtreme, which is this formula with added caffeine.
Got a sample of alpha ammio in one of my recent orders from xplossive and used it yesterday while I was training. I was impressed with the taste of it and how easy it was to shake in my water bottle. Thought it was helpful to get me through my session in the gym. Can't remember the flavor that I used but though it tasted pretty good overall would give the alpha ammio a good sold 9.5 out of ten
I was keen to get my hands on the Cellucor Alpha Amino and give it a try as it's packaging looked appealing. It has a decent BCAA dosage of 5grams plus 2.5grams of Complex aminos to prevent muscle
break down to help keep those muscle gains. I found the Lemon/Lime flavor to have a really pleasing taste which wasn't too sweet. Another thing I like about Alpha Amino is that it is low in sodium.
For what cellucor have tried to do I.E a more complex amino acid that tastes amazing they've done a great job and defanitly is an improvement on musclepharms amino1 from a formula and taste stand point, the only let down was the proprietary blend.. But you can still see the ratios are still much better of leucine ect.. So a great product imo.
