What is the Bargain Bunker?

The Bargain Bunker is Xplosiv’s clearance section. Every supplement here has been marked down to clear: short-dated lots, overstock, and discontinued flavours or pack sizes. You’ll find protein, creatine, pre-workouts, fat burners, aminos, greens and snacks from the brands we already stock, sold and shipped by Xplosiv here in New Zealand.

The deals at the top of this page are our team’s pick, grouped by category, with the best-before date shown where there is one. Everything below them is the full clearance range, and it changes as lines sell through and new ones are marked down.

Why products end up here

A product lands in the Bunker for one of three reasons. It is short-dated, meaning its best-before date is getting close or has passed. It is overstocked, because we bought more than we can sell at full price. Or it is being discontinued, because a brand has changed the formula, flavour or pack size. Each one is discounted as part of our clearance range. On a short-dated lot, quality, flavour, texture, mixability or declared levels of some ingredients may vary compared with a fresher batch.

Check the date before you buy

Many clearance lots are dated, and we show the best-before date in the product name, for example “Dated 07/25”, which means best before the end of July 2025. You can see it on the deal, on the listing and on the product page before anything goes in your cart, so read the date and decide what suits you.

Shop clearance by category

  • Protein, snacks and drinks
  • Creatine — monohydrate, HCL, capsules and chews
  • Pre-workouts — stimulant and stim-free formulas, plus sample packs
  • Fat burners
  • Aminos, greens and wellness

Frequently asked questions

Is the Bargain Bunker the same as Clearance?

Yes. The Bargain Bunker and Xplosiv’s clearance section are now one page, so every marked-down line lives here in one place.

Why are Bargain Bunker prices so low?

Because we would rather clear short-dated, overstocked and discontinued lines than hold them. Each price is set to move that stock.

How do I know a product’s best-before date?

It is in the product name, shown as “Dated” followed by the month and year, on both the listing and the product page. The date means best before the end of that month.

What can change on a short-dated product?

Quality, flavour, texture, mixability, or declared levels of some ingredients may vary compared with a fresher batch. Clearance stock is stored sealed as directed.

Can I return a clearance product?

Not happy with it? Contact us within 30 days of delivery for our goodwill return option. NZ consumer rights still apply.

How often are new deals added?

Whenever a line is marked down. There is no fixed day, so the range changes as stock sells and new lines arrive. Popular flavours tend to go first.
