What you are actually buying

A short, fully disclosed panel with a real stimulant dose. One serving is three capsules with water, once a day, and 90 capsules divides evenly into 30 of those servings. Eight ingredients are named, nothing sits behind a blend total, and every figure quoted on this page can be checked against the label.

The front of this pack is written for the United States. New Zealand rules for dietary supplements are stricter than the United States rules this bottle was printed under. The front-of-pack wording is not repeated on this page and is not part of what we are telling you about the product.

Where the artwork and the panel differ, the panel wins. The Supplement Facts tab on this page holds real text rather than a picture of a label, so it can be searched, copied and read on a phone without pinching to zoom. It is the operative statement of what is in the capsule.

The eight ingredients, plainly

Caffeine (as caffeine anhydrous), 225 mg. The single most important number on this label. Three capsules carry 225 mg, so each capsule holds 75 mg. Add it to any coffee, tea, cola or pre-workout you already have on the same day before you decide whether this fits your routine.

L-carnitine L-tartrate, 1 g. An amino-acid compound paired with tartaric acid. The panel prints this row in grams rather than milligrams, and at 1 g it is by far the largest amount on the label — roughly four and a half times the caffeine row.

Fenugreek extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum, seed), 600 mg. A seed extract standardised to 50% saponins, which the panel prints as a qualifier line under the row. On that figure, 600 mg of extract supplies 300 mg of saponins per serving.

Boron citrate, 200 mg. A boron salt. The panel states it supplies 5% boron, so one serving carries 10 mg of boron. If you already take a multivitamin, check whether it lists boron as well and count both towards your daily total.

aXivite® microencapsulated phenylcapsaicin, 62.5 mg. A chilli-derived compound in a microencapsulated form. The panel qualifies it as supplying 1% phenylcapsaicin, so 62.5 mg of the branded ingredient works out at 0.625 mg of phenylcapsaicin per serving.

Longjack extract (Eurycoma longifolia, root), 50 mg. A root extract, also sold under the name tongkat ali. The panel prints the 50 mg figure and the plant part, with no standardisation percentage and no extract ratio beside it.

Grains of paradise extract (Aframomum melegueta, seed), 20 mg. A seed extract from a West African plant in the ginger family, and the smallest amount on the panel. As with the longjack row, no standardisation percentage is printed.

Zinc (as zinc oxide), 11 mg. The only row on the panel with a % Daily Value beside it, printed as 100%. That is a United States Daily Value on an imported label rather than a New Zealand or Australian nutrient reference value.

How to use it

1. Take three capsules together — one serving is 3 capsules with a glass of water.
2. Once a day — the manufacturer’s directions say one serving daily, not split across the day.
3. Do not exceed 3 capsules in 24 hours — that limit is printed in the manufacturer’s directions.
4. Count your caffeine first — 225 mg is already in the serving, so add up your coffee, tea and any pre-workout before you take it, and take it early in the day if caffeine affects your sleep.
5. Count your boron — if another supplement in your routine lists boron, add the two together before you start.
6. Keep your fluids up — the manufacturer’s directions ask you to maintain an adequate state of hydration during use.
7. Store it cool and dry — out of reach of children.

Check the caffeine before you add anything. One serving already carries 225 mg, so a pre-workout, a caffeinated drink mix or a strong coffee on the same day stacks on top of it rather than beside it. If you take a pre-workout, most people run this on non-training days or at the opposite end of the day.

Nothing here replaces training, food or daily protein. This is a capsule panel — not a protein source, not a creatine product and not a meal. Most people running it keep the rest of their routine exactly as it was.
