Protein and creatine in the same scoop

Daily protein is the first thing to slip. Between work, training and everything else, hitting a protein target from food alone takes planning. A shake is the low-friction way to close the gap on the days when cooking another meal is not happening.

Nitro-Tech leads with whey. Each serve is built on an isolate and peptide blend with whey protein concentrate, giving 30 g of protein and 6.8 g of BCAAs — 3.3 g leucine, 1.8 g isoleucine and 1.7 g valine. In a 2018 meta-analysis, protein supplementation alongside resistance training supported greater gains in muscle size and strength than resistance training alone [1].

Ingredients

Full ingredient list. Isolate protein and peptide blend (whey peptides, whey protein isolate, whey protein isolate 97%), whey protein concentrate, natural and artificial flavours, gum blend (cellulose gum, xanthan gum, carrageenan), soy or sunflower lecithin, beet juice (colour), salt, Enzyplex (papain, amylase), calcium carbonate, sucralose, citric acid, malic acid, acesulfame potassium.

Two things worth knowing about these numbers. First, the manufacturer’s panel prints US % Daily Values against a 2,000-calorie diet, so we have left that column out — those percentages do not map to New Zealand nutrient reference values. Second, the panel is a reference: figures can vary slightly between Chocolate and Vanilla and when MuscleTech updates the formulation, so always read the panel on your own tub.

Allergens — contains milk and soy. Nitro-Tech is made from whey (milk) with soy or sunflower lecithin, so it is not suitable for anyone with a milk or soy allergy, and it is not vegan or dairy-free. It is produced in a facility that also processes wheat, egg, tree nut, peanut, fish and shellfish ingredients, so it is not labelled gluten-free or allergen-free.

What ships in the box

Each of the four tubs is selected on its own, so the pack can be four of one flavour or any split across the two. All four are the same Nitro-Tech formula — only the flavouring differs.

One scoop, cold water, ten seconds

1. Mix one scoop. Add a level scoop to cold water or milk and shake until smooth — follow the mixing volume printed on your tub. Water keeps the macros lean; milk makes it creamier and higher in calories.
2. Time it around training. A serve after training, or between meals on a rest day, is the simplest way to use it to top up daily protein.
3. Open one tub at a time. Keep the other three factory-sealed in a cool, dry place and reseal the one in use after every scoop.
4. Count it as part of your day. Use it alongside food, not instead of meals, and fit the number of serves to the protein you already get from your diet.
