Study 1 — Strength Recovery at 72 Hours 1
At 72 hours post-exercise, subjects in the PeptiStrong group had recovered to above their pre-exercise baseline power output. The placebo group remained below baseline at the same time point. The gap between the two recovery trajectories represented a 144% difference, with the overall time-course comparison reaching statistical significance (p = 0.027). Plasma myostatin was also significantly lower in the PeptiStrong group vs placebo (p = 0.031).

Study 2 — Strength and Endurance Over 8 Weeks 2
After 8 weeks, subjects supplementing with PeptiStrong showed 100% more improvement in muscle endurance (4 reps vs 2 reps on the endurance test) and 19% more improvement in leg extension strength (32 lbs vs 27 lbs) compared to placebo. Both groups followed the same resistance training programme.
Study 3 — HMB and Markers of Muscle Protein Breakdown 3
Subjects consuming 1.5g HMB per day alongside resistance training showed a significant reduction in urinary 3-methylhistidine compared to control. 3-methylhistidine is a direct biomarker of skeletal muscle protein breakdown. This study used the same 1.5g dose as found in Recovery Peptide 144.
