What you get per scoop

Caffeine for training energy. 105mg of caffeine per scoop — one of the most-researched performance ingredients — supports alertness and focus and can reduce how hard a session feels [1].
B-vitamins for energy metabolism. Niacin (vitamin B3) and vitamin B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and help reduce tiredness and fatigue [2].
Sugar-free and fully disclosed. 0g sugar and just 11 Calories per scoop, with every ingredient dose printed on the panel — no proprietary blends.

Contains caffeine: 105mg per scoop (210mg in a 2-scoop serve). Start with one scoop to assess your tolerance. Do not exceed two scoops (210mg caffeine) in any 24 hours, and avoid other caffeine or stimulant sources on the same day. Not suitable for those under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, sensitive to caffeine, or with a heart condition or high blood pressure.

Why it works

Caffeine does the heavy lifting. Caffeine is among the most-studied ergogenic ingredients in sport. At 105mg per scoop it supports alertness and focus and can lower your perception of effort, so a working set feels a little more manageable [1]. Step up to two scoops (210mg) when you want a stronger lift.

B-vitamins support your energy systems. Each scoop carries 15mg of niacin (vitamin B3) and 3mcg of vitamin B12 — both recognised to contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to help reduce tiredness and fatigue [2]. They are the steady, substantiated backbone behind the caffeine.

The supporting aminos, at label dose. Citrulline (980mg), beta-alanine (1050mg), betaine (658mg) and tyrosine (26mg) round out each scoop. We print exactly what is in there rather than dressing the doses up — the beta-alanine is also what gives many people the familiar pre-workout skin tingle (see the FAQ).

Every dose is on the panel. Caffeine, citrulline, beta-alanine, betaine, tyrosine, niacin and B12 are all listed at their exact per-serve amounts — no proprietary blend hides the numbers. What you read is what you scoop.

How to use

  1. Start with one scoop: mix one scoop (4g) into 250–350ml of cold water about 20–30 minutes before training, and assess how you feel before going higher.
  2. Scale to your tolerance: if one scoop sits well, you can build up to two scoops (8g) for a stronger 210mg caffeine serve. Two scoops is the most to take in any 24 hours.
  3. Mind your other caffeine: count this towards your daily caffeine and avoid stacking it with coffee, energy drinks or other stimulant supplements on the same day.
  4. Train earlier, not later: because it contains caffeine, take it earlier in the day so it does not affect your sleep — avoid using it within about 6 hours of bed.
Drink water alongside your serve and through your session. If you are new to stimulant pre-workouts, one scoop is plenty to begin with.

Frequently asked questions

How much caffeine is in Ping?

Each scoop (4g) contains 105mg of caffeine, so a two-scoop serve (8g) is 210mg. Two scoops is the most to take in any 24 hours. Count this towards your daily caffeine and avoid other caffeine or stimulant sources on the same day.

How many scoops should I take?

Start with one scoop to see how you respond, then build up to two if you tolerate it well and want a stronger serve. One scoop gives a moderate 105mg of caffeine; two scoops gives 210mg. Most people find one to one-and-a-half scoops is plenty.

Why do I feel a tingle when I take it?

That is the beta-alanine. A harmless, temporary skin tingle called paraesthesia is a well-known, normal effect of beta-alanine in pre-workouts. It usually starts within minutes and passes on its own. If you would rather avoid it, take a smaller scoop.

Is Ping sugar-free?

Yes. Ping has 0g of sugar and just 11 Calories per scoop. It is sweetened with sucralose and acesulphame potassium rather than sugar, and contains 0.3g of carbohydrate per scoop. The full nutrition panel is in the Supplement Facts tab above.

Can I take it with coffee or an energy drink?

It is best not to. Ping already provides 105mg of caffeine per scoop, so stacking it with coffee, energy drinks or other stimulant supplements adds up quickly. Keep your total daily caffeine in mind, and avoid other caffeine sources on the days you use Ping.

What flavour is available?

Ping is currently available in Electric Fizz, a lemon and lime flavour, in the 60-serve Standard tub. The flavour is sugar-free and mixes into cold water. Select the available option on this page to add it to your cart at the listed price.

Is it suitable for drug-tested athletes?

Ping is not certified against a banned-substance programme such as HASTA or Informed Sport. If you compete under drug testing, choose a product that carries one of those certifications, or check with your anti-doping body before use. Caffeine itself is permitted in sport but is monitored.
