MuscleTech Platinum Multivitamin is a three-tablet daily multivitamin from Iovate Health Sciences’ MuscleTech line. This listing is the United States formula in the 90-tablet bottle — 30 serves, or one month at a serve a day — brought into New Zealand by Xplosiv. The complete Supplement Facts panel is published on this page as text rather than a photograph, so all 47 label rows can be read, searched and checked.

Why people pick this size

What the 90-tablet bottle gets you

  • A calendar month per bottle — 90 tablets at 3 per serve is exactly 30 daily serves, so one bottle is one month.
  • One dose, taken once — the whole serve is three tablets with water, not a morning-and-night split to remember.
  • Twenty-one nutrient rows — 12 vitamins, 8 minerals and choline, each printed with its own amount.
  • Nothing hidden behind a blend name — all four matrices show a total and every component underneath it.
  • Allergens stated up front — contains sulfite and soy ingredients.

The honest version

What you are actually buying

A daily multi-nutrient tablet in a one-month bottle. Three tablets make one serve, taken together with a glass of water once a day. Ninety tablets divides evenly into thirty of those serves, which is why this size suits someone trying the formula for a month before deciding whether it earns a permanent slot.

The panel is the product. Every ingredient in the tablet is listed with its own milligram or microgram figure — 47 rows in total. There is no undisclosed proprietary blend anywhere in it, and the component amounts reconcile with each printed matrix total.

Read it here, not off a photograph. The Supplement Facts tab on this page holds real text, not a picture of a label. You can search it, copy it and read it on a phone without pinching to zoom, and every figure quoted on this page traces back to it.

Line by line

The four matrices, plainly

Amino Support Matrix, 865 mg. Nearly all of that is glycine at 806 mg, with alpha lipoic acid at 49 mg. The four remaining amino acids sit at 2.5 mg each — trace amounts, and we would rather say so than let a large matrix total imply otherwise.

Herbal Matrix, 536 mg. Green tea leaf extract accounts for 390 mg of it. The other eight botanicals make up the balance, the largest being saw palmetto fruit extract at 50 mg and American ginseng at 25 mg; green coffee bean and turmeric extracts are 5 mg each.

Mineral Support Complex, 119 mg, and Enzyme Complex, 50 mg. The mineral complex is mostly potassium chloride at 72 mg, plus two choline salts, inositol and boron. The enzyme complex is an even 25 mg each of amylase and papain.

On caffeine: caffeine is not listed as an added ingredient. The Herbal Matrix does contain 390 mg of green tea leaf extract and 5 mg of green coffee bean extract, and botanical extracts of that kind can carry naturally occurring caffeine that the label does not quantify. The green tea extract is standardised for 15% epigallocatechin gallate, so a serve carries roughly 58.5 mg of EGCG — count it in your daily total if you already take another green tea extract product.
Allergens: contains sulfite and soy ingredients. Other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, coating (polyvinyl alcohol, talc, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80), magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. Always check the label on the bottle you receive.

How to use it

  1. Take three tablets together — one serve is 3 tablets with a glass of water.
  2. Once a day — the serve is not split across the day.
  3. Not on an empty stomach — the manufacturer’s directions say do not take while fasting, so pair it with a meal.
  4. Store it cool and dry — and keep your fluid intake up through the day.

Is it for you?

Built for

  • Anyone wanting to try this formula for a month before buying the bigger bottle
  • People who prefer a single once-a-day tablet serve
  • Label readers who want every component and its amount printed
  • Households already running a MuscleTech routine

Not for

  • Anyone under 18
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women — this formula contains preformed vitamin A and botanical extracts including saw palmetto; talk to your doctor first
  • Anyone on prescription medication, without checking with their doctor
  • People avoiding sulfites or soy
  • Anyone already taking a separate green tea extract product without counting this one in

What we don't claim

No health claims, by design. We make no immune, energy, hormone, metabolic or weight-management claims for this product, and we do not present the Herbal Matrix botanicals — green tea, green coffee bean, saw palmetto, American ginseng, ginkgo, echinacea, grape skin, turmeric — as doing anything in particular. They are on the label at the amounts shown, and that is the whole of what we are telling you.

The NZ rules are stricter than the US ones. New Zealand rules for dietary supplements are tighter than the United States rules this pack was written under, so some wording printed on the bottle does not appear on this page. Where front-of-pack graphics and the Supplement Facts panel differ, the panel is the operative statement of what is in the tablet.

Stack with

The same tablet, in a bigger bottle. If a month on the formula settles it, the identical product is sold in a 180-tablet bottle — 60 serves of the same tablet, same serving size, same per-serve amounts. People running a training block usually pair a daily multi with protein and creatine rather than with another botanical product; the green tea extract in this one is worth counting before adding a second.

FAQ

How long does a 90-tablet bottle last?

Thirty days per bottle. One serve is three tablets and the directions say once daily, so 90 tablets divided by 3 equals 30 serves. Taken every day without skipping, a bottle covers a calendar month. The 180-tablet bottle of the same formula runs for 60 days on the same schedule.

How many tablets do I take, and when?

Three tablets together, once a day. Take them with a glass of water. The manufacturer’s directions say not to take it while fasting, so pair the serve with a meal rather than first thing on an empty stomach. The serve is not meant to be split across the day.

Does MuscleTech Platinum Multivitamin contain caffeine?

Caffeine is not an added ingredient. It is not listed on the label. The Herbal Matrix does include 390 mg of green tea leaf extract and 5 mg of green coffee bean extract, and botanical extracts like these can carry naturally occurring caffeine that the label does not quantify. Factor that in if you are caffeine sensitive.

What is in the Herbal Matrix?

536 mg per serve, across nine botanicals: green tea leaf extract 390 mg standardised for 15% epigallocatechin gallate, saw palmetto fruit 50 mg, American ginseng 25 mg, echinacea root 20 mg, ginkgo leaf 20 mg, grape skin extract 20 mg, green coffee bean 5 mg, turmeric rhizome 5 mg and octacosanol 1.25 mg.

Is this the same formula as the 180-tablet bottle?

Yes — same tablet, same panel. Serving size is 3 tablets on both, and every per-serve amount on the Supplement Facts panel is identical. The only difference is how many tablets are in the bottle and therefore how many serves it holds: 30 in this 90-tablet size, 60 in the 180-tablet size.

Are there allergens in it?

Yes — sulfite and soy ingredients, as stated on the label. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, a coating of polyvinyl alcohol, talc, polyethylene glycol and polysorbate 80, plus magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. Check the physical label on arrival.

Can I take it while pregnant, or alongside medication?

Talk to your doctor first in both cases. This is a dietary supplement, not a medicine, and it is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless a healthcare professional advises it. The formula includes preformed vitamin A and several botanical extracts, which is why the advice is to check rather than assume.

Where these numbers come from

  1. Supplement Facts panel, MuscleTech Platinum Multivitamin (serving size 3 tablets) — Iovate Health Sciences, muscletech.com/products/platinum-multivitamin. Reproduced in full, row for row, in the Supplement Facts tab on this page.
  2. Other Ingredients and the allergen statement (“contains sulfite and soy ingredients”) — same panel.
  3. Directions and the “do not take while fasting” instruction — manufacturer’s directions for this product.
  4. Servings per bottle — arithmetic on the pack: 90 tablets divided by 3 tablets per serve equals 30 serves.
  5. Group counts — counted off the panel: 21 nutrient rows above the matrices (12 vitamins, 8 minerals, choline), then four matrices.
